The following are some of the major transfers that have been completed or are set to be completed in the next days before the transfer window comes to a close.
Antoine Griezmann To Barcelona
Barcelona has snapped up Antoine Griezmann from their rivals Atletico Madrid in what is considered as one of the top transfers in 2019. This is a year after the World Cup winner with France turned down an offer from Barcelona in 2018. The player has signed a five-year deal with the Catalonian Club after Barcelona paid his release clause of 120 million Euros but Atletico insists that his buy out clause was 200 million Euros. It will be nice to see how the French player will gel with the likes of Messi and Suarez in what is being tipped to be a lethal attacking trio in Europe.
Harry Maguire To Manchester United
Manchester United are looking to boost their defending options after agreeing to sign Harry Maguire from Leicester City for 80 million pounds. It was reported that the Foxes wanted a fee of 90 million pounds paid upfront but after the player insisted that he was not happy and wished the club would sell him at the right price, the Foxes decided to sell the player to United. The English international who was a hero during the 2018 Russia World Cup will hope to make his presence felt in his new club.
